Senior Web Developer

Altitude Marketing seeks a full-time Senior Web Developer with broad understanding of leading-edge web technologies and web-based marketing. Demonstrated competency in understanding web analytics and putting that knowledge to use essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record working with WordPress a must
  • 3+ years experience in web development
  • Experience in CSS, PHP, Javascript and Ajax
  • Expert HTML skills with cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility
  • Excellent design sense
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills to monitor, maintain and improve production schedules and budgets
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to apply creative thinking to technology issues
  • Drive to learn new web technologies and programming approaches

What you will be doing:

  • Planning, overseeing and executing website development using open source development tools, particularly WordPress
  • Developing and testing PHP web applications and open source solutions, including pushing WordPress into new and innovative uses
  • Researching and implementing social media tools and applications
  • Following industry-standard software development techniques and practices
  • Participating in collaborative design and project planning sessions
  • Rigorously adhering to time tracking and production management demands
  • Working both independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Demonstrating innovation and accountability for assigned responsibilities

Junior Account Executive

Altitude Marketing seeks a versatile Account Executive to help manage our growing roster of technology-oriented companies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years as an account executive or representative at a marketing agency or in a marketing department
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the latest trends in interactive advertising and public relations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management and customer service skills
  • Previous tech sector and/or B2B advertising experience – a huge plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and managing project schedules, scope and budgets
  • Developing and executing integrated marketing strategies
  • Managing existing projects and production schedules
  • Developing new business from within existing and new client accounts
  • Writing, researching and editing
