Altitude Supports “Work-Life” Balance

A competitive swimmer my entire life, I became an assistant swim coach at the age of 16 for Saucon Valley County Club. I spent seven summers coaching and continued after I graduated college.

In December 2010 I began my public relations internship with Altitude Marketing. Knowing my internship would end in the spring, I committed to coaching the swim team for summer 2011.

However, the internship went so well that I was hired full-time in March 2011 as Marketing Coordinator. Knowing I had already made a commitment to coaching, and after internal discussion at Altitude, we found a way to make it work! I was able to put in at least 40 hours per week at Altitude, while keeping my swim team coach position this summer.

Saucon Valley swim team has been a huge part of my life over the past eight years. I am extremely grateful to work for a company that encourages employees to be involved in activities and clubs outside of work. Altitude’s strong support for a “work-life” balance has been a blessing.

This past swim season has flown by. With 3 wins under our belt and 5th place at championships, I couldn’t be prouder of each and every swimmer on our team, (all 96 of you!) What a great season SVCC SWIM TEAM!
