Part of the Allentown Economic Development Corporation, the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center is a 64,000-square-foot business incubator dedicated primarily to manufacturing and technology startups.

“AEDC is very excited to have Andrew join our advisory committee,” said Anthony Durante, program manager, Bridgeworks Enterprise Center. “His passion and dedication to the Lehigh Valley entrepreneurial ecosystem are evident in everything he does. His expertise in branding, marketing and strategy development will be a great addition to the committee and a valuable resource for our entrepreneurs.”

In his role as a member of the BEC Advisory Committee, Stanten will fulfill two main objectives: to assist entrepreneurs and to provide guidance for AECD.

AEDC is very excited to have Andrew join our advisory committee. His passion and dedication to the Lehigh Valley entrepreneurial ecosystem are evident in everything he does. His expertise in branding, marketing and strategy development will be a great addition to the committee and a valuable resource for our entrepreneurs.

In the role of assisting entrepreneurs, Stanten may be called upon to provide branding and marketing guidance and mentorship in either a group setting or on a one-on-one basis with the center’s clients. Members of the committee are also tapped to provide training for clients, which Stanten previously did as part of the organization’s “Growing Your Business” sessions.

Secondly, Stanten will provide input to AEDC in regard to driving the business incubation program by vetting incoming clients and by providing input on strategic goals, ensuring the AEDC stays true to its mission and represents stakeholders in the startup community.

Stanten co-founded Altitude Marketing in 2004 after spending 15 years bringing successful marketing, public relations and business development strategies to Lehigh University and Rodale Inc.

A steadfast supporter of the entrepreneurial and business communities, Stanten was named Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) Northeastern Pennsylvania’s “Entrepreneurial Advocate of the Year” in 2015. The award recognized Stanten for his demonstrated efforts in sharing his leadership, time and expertise to help BFTP entrepreneurs thrive.

In addition to his efforts at BFTP, Stanten has volunteered his time to teaching at the Small Business Development Center at Lehigh University and as a guest lecturer at Lehigh University’s College of Business.

Stanten is a regular contributor to CIO.com and, since 2010, has been a columnist for Lehigh Valley Business. He is also a member of QNB Bank’s Community Advisory Group and serves on the Board of Directors at the Rising Tide Community Loan Fund.

Stanten earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his MBA from Lehigh University.
