At Altitude Marketing, there is no “one size fits all” solution.
Every client has different wants, different needs and different metrics to evaluate the success of our engagement.
Sometimes it’s a rebranding effort aimed at solidifying positioning within an evolving marketplace. Sometimes it’s about lead generation. And sometimes it’s about building a foundation capable of sustaining growth on the way to acquisition.
For many early- and mid-stage B2B technology companies, the latter is the key. And for former client Sitrof Technologies, such a strategy led to overwhelming success.
Based in Princeton, N.J., Sitrof Technologies provided Tier 1 and Tier 2 life sciences firms – including some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers – with modern, scalable content management and consulting services. Sitrof’s regulatory affairs, safety, pharmacovigilance, compliance and QA solutions were universally lauded for their ease-of-use, efficiency and relative cost-effectiveness.
While Sitrof was doing its thing, we were doing ours.
Altitude was instrumental in helping the firm get the word out, designing striking trade show booths and collateral, developing a best-in-class website, authoring regular technical and non-technical content and administering the company’s HubSpot marketing software platform. Running parallel to these efforts was a successful PR campaign, which led to coverage in major trade publications, speaking engagements and interviews and helped to position leadership as thought leaders in their industry.
“Altitude takes integrated marketing to new levels of effectiveness and efficiency,” said Bryan Reynolds, Sitrof’s managing partner. “From content and trade show strategy to special events and videos, they deliver the right blend of strategy, creativity and value.”
And with that blend of creativity and value, combined with a consistent, over-arching integrated marketing strategy, Sitrof’s profile grew.
So, when EMC – the global leader in information technology as a service (ITaaS) and enterprise-class cloud computing – wanted to strengthen its foothold in the life sciences space, it didn’t have to look far.
In June 2013, EMC formally acquired Sitrof, and integrated the firm into its IIG Services Americas consulting practice.
Naturally, the acquisition wasn’t the end for Sitrof. Today, the firm’s principals and employees use the EMC Documentum for Life Sciences solution suite to help organizations meet compliance requirements, increase productivity and securely collaborate across the extended enterprise. The work ethic and smarts that got them where they are haven’t gone anywhere.
Meanwhile, at Altitude, we’re working to help other B2B technology firms meet their business goals through strategic, data-driven marketing efforts. Whether it’s increasing revenue, consolidating disparate messages and visual identities or setting the stage for acquisition, the View from 30,000 Feet is helping them get there.
