Altitude Marketing, an integrated marketing agency serving technology-focused B2B companies, is pleased to announce that Andrew Stanten, president and founder, has been invited to lead two sessions for the ongoing “Growing Your Business” learning series, part of the Allentown Economic Development Corporation’s (AEDC) business incubation programming.
The four-part series is being held for client companies of the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center, a 64,000-square-foot business incubator dedicated primarily to manufacturing and technology startups. The program kicked off in late September and Stanten’s sessions, one on branding and the other on creating a marketing communications plan, are slated for November 18 and December 16, respectively.
“I’m a big believer in supporting the start-up community in the greater Lehigh Valley,” said Stanten. “I approach these sessions with two perspectives – marketing executive and entrepreneur. Beyond being able to share some marketing best-practices, I can relate to what’s going on in these entrepreneurs’ minds. I was in their shoes once and understand at a very personal level what they are going through so when Anthony Durante asked if I’d be willing to help, I jumped at the chance.”
Growing Your Business is the first series in AEDC’s recently redesigned entrepreneurial education program and offers sessions on sales, marketing and branding for early-stage companies.
Stanten co-founded Altitude Marketing in 2004 after spending 15 years bringing successful marketing, public relations and business development strategies to Lehigh University and Rodale Inc.
A steadfast supporter of the entrepreneurial and business communities, Stanten was recently named Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) Northeastern Pennsylvania’s “Entrepreneurial Advocate of the Year.” The award recognized Stanten for his demonstrated efforts in sharing his leadership, time and expertise to help BFTP entrepreneurs thrive.
In addition to his efforts at BFTP, Stanten regularly volunteers his time to teaching at the Small Business Development Center at Lehigh University and is a frequent guest lecturer at Lehigh University’s College of Business. Since 2010, he has been a regular columnist for Lehigh Valley Business. He is also a member of QNB Bank’s Community Advisory Group and serves on the Board of Directors at the Rising Tide Community Loan Fund.
Stanten earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his MBA from Lehigh University.
