Altitude Marketing, an integrated marketing agency serving technology-focused companies, is pleased to announce that Kelly Stratton has been promoted to vice president, communications, a new role at the firm. Stratton, who most recently served as the director of PR and digital communications, joined Team Altitude in 2012 as manager, public relations.

In her time at Altitude, Stratton has played a key role in developing and growing the public relations team; setting repeatable processes; spearheading the strategy of clients’ public relations and social media efforts; serving as the trusted go-to person for crisis communication and communication efforts both internally and externally.
In her new role, Stratton will continue to be responsible for driving the strategic communication efforts that promote and enhance Altitude’s and clients’ brand reputation; serving on the company’s leadership team; and developing Altitude’s internal communications strategy.
Prior to joining Altitude, Stratton served as director of communications for the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She also served as a communications specialist at Lehigh University, director of public relations at Special Olympics Pennsylvania and was a freelance writer for publications including Prevention Magazine, Columbia University Press and Lehigh Valley Style. Stratton holds a bachelor’s degree in professional writing from Slippery Rock University.
