Altitude Marketing is pleased to announce that our client Results Engineering and their client Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) have been named finalists for the 2009 AIIM Carl E. Nelson Best Practices Award.
CMSD was selected based upon their solution implementation of OCR for AnyDoc provided by systems integrator, Results Engineering.
The Carl E. Nelson Best Practices Award presented by AIIM, the Association for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), recognizes excellence in the ECM field. The term “Best Practices” denotes a standard of excellence that has been achieved within an organization and refers to a process or implementation that can be quantified, adapted, and repeated.
CMSD needed an automated system to process the 18,600 free and reduced meal program applications and 18,000 school uniform program applications anticipated annually. Working with Results Engineering, a Westerville, Ohio-based value-added reseller, CMSD implemented OCR for AnyDoc to automatically capture and process incoming applications.
Using OCR for AnyDoc, CMSD’s uniform and meal programs resulted in a highly accurate and efficient, speedy solution that reduced the need to hire approximately 50 temporary employees, eliminating $280,000 in labor costs. They reduced labor needs by 65 percent, eliminating thousands of hours of manual data entry.
Altitude Marketing worked closely with Results Engineering and AnyDoc to complete the nomination process. The marketing firm created a case study for CMSD for the award submission. Proper research and interviews were conducted by Altitude Marketing.
