Andrew Stanten, president of Altitude Marketing, has been presented with an Executive Spotlight Award by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal (EPBJ).
The awards ceremony took place on October 7 at the EPBJ EXPO 2009 event in Allentown. The Executive Spotlight award recognizes individuals from the regional business community who personify the ideals of business excellence and community service. The award, which is in its tenth year, is given annually to ten professionals in Eastern Pennsylvania who have made the region a better place to live and work.
Stanten’s entrepreneurship and community presence qualified him for the prestigious award. Stanten, who founded Altitude Marketing with Stan Zukowski in 2004, has worked to grow the business while remaining engaged in the local community. Earlier this year, Stanten was selected as one of the EPBJ’s “Top 20 Under 40” area business people.
“Andrew amazes me with his dedication to Altitude, to the community and to his family. I don’t know how he gets it all done. I suspect he secretly operates on a 36-hour day. I’m honored to be his friend and business partner,” said Stan Zukowski.
Among his many civic and professional efforts, Stanten is Chair of ArtsQuest’s Marketing Advisory Committee, helping to bring music and cultural events to the Lehigh Valley. He volunteer teaches a popular Marketing 101 seminar at Lehigh University’s Small Business Development Center, passing his expertise to budding entrepreneurs. He has been associated with Ben Franklin Technology Partners, which offers investment and business assistance for startup companies, for many years. Stanten’s other humanitarian efforts include working with Easter Seals Eastern PA, which provides programs and services to those living with disabilities, providing valuable business and marketing counsel to Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley and supporting other various charity organizations.
