Altitude Marketing Supports Strategic Growth Plan with Promotion of Adam Smartschan and Alex Hernandez

Altitude Promotes Two

Altitude Marketing, an integrated marketing agency serving technology-focused B2B companies and manufacturers for more than 15 years, recently promoted two key team members into strategic positions that support the agency’s data-driven approach to marketing services.

Adam Smartschan is now Chief Strategy Officer. He joined Altitude as Manager of Editorial Services in 2011. He subsequently was promoted to Director of Editorial Services and most recently served as Vice President of Innovation & Strategy. Smartschan’s role as Chief Strategy Officer involves the development and implementation of marketing strategies that elevate client brands and help them achieve their business goals. He oversees brand positioning, marketing automation, lead generation, website optimization and system integration. Smartschan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University.

“Adam’s role evolved during his time at Altitude thanks to his ability to rapidly understand complex topics, markets and technologies, and he steered how we deliver marketing services to our clients,” says Andrew Stanten, President, Altitude Marketing. “The Altitude Team relies on Adam to generate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for our clients and for the agency. He has been integral to Altitude’s growth and success.”

Alex Hernandez was promoted to Director of Client Operations. She began her career at Altitude in 2015 as an Assistant Account Manager and was elevated to Client Engagement Manager in 2016 and then Senior Client Engagement Manager in 2018. In her new role, she continues to manage several client accounts while devoting time to refining Altitude’s internal operations, including production processes, work efficiencies and profitability. She ensures that all client deliverables and deadlines are met, providing Altitude’s B2B clients with the most return on their investment. Hernandez holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Kutztown University.

“Alex has a great understanding of the ‘right’ work at the right time for our clients,” says Gwen Shields, COO, Altitude Marketing. “Dedicating part of her week to operational opportunities will allow Altitude to continue to delight our clients and offer more value. Alex will ensure that our work is high quality, on time and on budget.”
