Reaching New Heights: Altitude Earns a Spot on the 2019 Inc. 5000 List

Andrew Stanten

President

There are a lot of business awards out there, and I’m always proud when Altitude Marketing is recognized for the good work we do. But today is different and completely amazing for our team here at Altitude.

Today, Altitude Marketing was named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing independent small businesses in America.

To crack this list – out of the millions of small businesses in our country – is truly special. Inc. 5000 is not a popularity contest or subjective rating based on qualitative factors. It is an objective ranking based on financial data and tax returns. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn and Zillow first gained national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

Our PR team here at Altitude is excited to have the Inc. 5000 recognition to promote, but this award means more to me than a promotional opportunity.

In just 15 years, Altitude has grown, thrived and turned into an internationally recognized B2B agency that works with companies small and large around the world from right here in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.

Thinking about that blows me away. Through it all, Altitude has remained focused on results-oriented service to our clients while providing a work-life balance for our team, now totaling 22 creative and dedicated individuals.

What we have accomplished at Altitude has surpassed my wildest dreams. I am humbled and grateful to everyone who has worked with us and bled Altitude blue. I know that Altitude is successful because of the incredible talent our team members bring to work each day and the commitment of our trusted advisors and partners.

Making the Inc. 5000 list validates my original vision for Altitude: To do great marketing for our clients by pulling the lens way back – to 30,000 feet – and starting with strategy fueled by data, then developing clear positioning and cogent messaging and, finally, bringing it all to life with amazing creative.

My original vision also stressed the importance of never, ever resting on our laurels. If we are doing today what we did last year, we run the risk of not being here tomorrow, so we’ve built a team that is not afraid to innovate, try new things, fail and try again. We are our own Petri dish – testing new approaches to marketing, deploying new technologies, finding ways to save money while improving results, and challenging yesterday’s best practices and aging assumptions.

Altitude, at age 15, certainly hasn’t stopped evolving or reached its full potential yet. Being named to the Inc. 5000 list is a great reminder of that – and just the kick in the pants I need to make sure the next decade and a half bring us even more success.
