Altitude Marketing is seeking a full-time Sr. Content Marketing Specialist to help us deliver exceptional content for our growing roster of manufacturing, tech, and life sciences B2B clients. About the Role

As Sr. Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for defining content strategies for Altitude clients as well as writing and developing a range of content types: website pages, ad copy, guides, blogs, feature-length articles, video scripts, landing pages, case studies, and more. You’ll also work closely with clients and subject matter experts, conducting interviews to bring technical and complex topics to life.

This role is heavily focused on content creation but also involves assisting in the development of client brand and campaign messaging, collaborating closely with design and digital marketing teams, and analyzing and learning from performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy 

  • Develop content strategies that align with clients’ marketing goals and budget
  • Build and maintain editorial calendars with relevant and potential content topics
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to assess content effectiveness—via SEO and lead generation metrics—and determine necessary adjustments

Content Creation

  • Serve as primary writer on assigned clients, producing content for a variety of marketing needs
  • Work closely with the Design team to ideate and iterate multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and interactive assets 
  • Collaborate with the Brand team in the development of brand- and campaign-level messaging
  • Research and map SEO keywords to content topics
  • Proofread and review content as necessary to ensure quality

Client Engagement

  • Attend client meetings, including kickoffs, weekly status updates, reporting reviews, and subject matter interviews
  • Present a variety of deliverables to clients, including content-specific strategies and pitches, as well as larger integrated marketing plans with the full account team.

Content Distribution & Optimization 

  • Distribute blogs and other content in respective channels as necessary, including website, social media, email marketing, and trade media platforms
  • Draft social media posts for content you produce 
  • Build-out email newsletters with content you produce
  • Track content KPIs (traffic, organic keywords, conversions, etc.)

Team Collaboration

  • Follow all company SOPs
  • Contribute to a high-performing, solutions-oriented team culture
  • Bring a positive, proactive attitude to every meeting

Background Should Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant content writing experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills 
  • Detail-oriented with ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under multiple deadlines 
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn and grow
