Team Altitude welcomed Susan Jensen as the PR and social media intern in 2014.
Susan Jensen, a Lehigh University graduate, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics with a major in marketing and two minors in Spanish and Latin American studies. Jensen’s marketing professor, who welcomed Altitude President Andrew Stanten as a guest lecturer to one of Jensen’s classes, encouraged students to apply for Altitude’s PR and social media internship to gain practical real-world experiences. Itching to step her foot in the door, Jensen sent in her resume and landed the internship for the entirety of her senior year.
“As one of my first professional experiences, I learned a great deal about how to conduct myself in any business environment,” Jensen said. “Altitude also provided me with a toolkit of best-practices and a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of marketing that gave me key perspectives.”

Starting her marketing career at Millward Brown Analytics in Boston, Massachusetts after graduation in 2015, Jensen was exposed to cutting-edge research tools, honed her technical skills and synthesized quantitative data to diagnose the successes and shortcomings of clients’ brand equity, market segmentation, customer satisfaction, and product design and pricing. Jensen became immersed in the research design phase of marketing, which led to her promotion to a consultant.
After her time with Millward Brown, Jensen started a new journey with the CIEE and the Spanish Ministry of Education from September 2016 to June 2017. Her time was spent working in a primary school in Madrid, Spain, teaching English and helping students prepare for various English language exams.
Most recently, Jensen made the move Copenhagen, Denmark where she is enrolled in a master’s program at the Copenhagen Business School. Come 2019, she will have earned her Master of Science in business, language, and culture with a concentration in business and development studies. Jensen is excited to see what the future holds for her professional career, and is thankful for the marketing foundation she built at Altitude.
“Everyone I worked with at Altitude was eager to help me learn and always knew how to approach every situation with a sense of humor. I’ll never forget the office banter and fun celebrations. I am very grateful for my time there,” said Jensen.
